Do you ever go away on holiday, only to come back with a cocktail that just sings of that one trip? A drink that reminds you more than any other of halcyon days in the sun, carefree and happy?
For me, every trip I take seems to adopt its own cocktail flavour. Be it the Bloody Maria ‘Muy Picante’ of previous trips to Mexico, Nimbu Pani on the sweltering streets of Mumbai or this year, An Apple Martini, sitting on the beach on the Riviera Maya.

30ml Apple Sourz
20ml Apple Cider
5 ml Lime Juice
Ice & Apple Slices to serve
1. Fill a Martini Glass with ice and set aside to chill.
2. Half fill a Boston Shaker with ice and add all remaining ingredients, aside from the apple.
3. Shake for 30 seconds to chill.
4. Empty the Martini Glass of Ice, strain the martini through a hawthorn strainer and garnish with apple.
5. Serve immediately.
