Blood Orange & Lavender Sour

This beautiful drink, redolent with Citrus & Flowers reminds me that new life is just around corner.


If you don’t have Starlino Torino, substitute with a little more Pisco & Blood Orange Juice

Ingredients:


50ml Pisco

40ml Starlino Torino

30ml Blood Orange Juice

30ml Lavender Syrup (I use Monin)

1 Egg White


Ice to shake

Blood Orange to Garnish


Method:


1. Add all ingredients to ta Boston Shaker, adding the egg last so it doesn’t start to break down in the sugar.

2. Dry Shake for 3 seconds to emulsify. Then add 4 ice cubes. Shake for 30 seconds more.

3. Strain through a Hawthorn Strainer into a coup glass. Allow the foam to settle then garnish with Blood Orange & serve immediately.
