Campari & Orange Cranberry Sauce

PRACTICE SAFE EATING: USE A CONDIMENT…. Its true, condiments just lift dishes to a whole new level. Whatever rocks your boat, Fries with Ketchup or Mayo, Salt or Vinegar, everyone has their own favourite, but I am yet to find someone who likes their food ‘plain’.

So, this is my go-to for the Holiday Season, be it Thanksgiving or Christmas, no plate or sandwich is complete without it…


500g Fresh or Frozen Cranberries

100g Caster Sugar

1 Orange, Juice & Zest

3 tbsp Campari


1. Put all ingredients, aside from the sugar in a pan and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and bubble for 5 minutes, using your spoon to crush the berries as they swell.

2. Add the sugar and stir through, bubble for 1-2 minutes more, or until the sugar has just dissolved.

3. Remove from the heat and transfer into sterile jars. Allow to cool completely before storing in the fridge. This will keep for a week, but I can guarantee it won’t last that long…
