Cherry Cardamom Mezcalita

Cardamom Syrup:

100g Caster Sugar

100ml Water

10 Cardamom Pods, Crushed

For one Drink:

50ml Mezcal

50ml Cherry Juice

10ml Cardamom Syrup

10ml Lime Juice

Ice to Shake


1. Begin with the syrup. Add all ingredients to a small pan and heat over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Increase the heat and boil for 3-5 minutes. remove, allow to cool to room temperature then strain into a bottle and store in the fridge.

2. When ready, add all ingredients to a Boston Shaker with 4 ice cubes. Shake for 30 seconds then strain through a hawthorn strainer into a chilled glass. Serve straight away.
