I don’t know about you, but Gin makes me think of Summer. Long drinks, glistening in the sunbeams unfiltered by the clouds.
But when I think of a Negroni, I see leather upholstery, velvet, and twilight, speckled with sparks from a log fire. So that’s when I opt for a Boulevardier. All the joy of a Negroni, with the Winter Kiss of Bourbon.
Adding Cinnamon just seals the deal, winter in a glass. Add some drama by igniting it as it falls….

Ingredients:
40ml Bourbon
20ml Starlino Vermouth
20ml Campari
Shake of Cinnamon and Orange Twist to finish
Ice, optional if you prefer the dilution as you drink
Method:
1. Layer all ingredients in a rocks glass and stir until well mixed. Either serve on ice or without.
2. Garnish with an orange twist, squeezing the oils first, shake with cinnamon from a height before serving. Shake over a naked flame for extra drama….
