For now, I am sharing this recipe for my Hibiscus Maple Margarita. Fresh, zingy, and made for pure joy.

Ingredients:

750ml Filtered Water

30g Dried Hibiscus Flowers

60ml Maple Syrup + 1 tbsp

1 Lime, juiced

50ml Tequila

Ice to serve

Tajin or Sea Salt for the rim

Lime wedges to serve

Method:

1. Bring the water to a boil and remove from the heat. Add the dried hibiscus and the maple and stir. Allow to cool to room temperature then pop in the fridge to chill.

2. When ready, rub the rim of your glass with lime and dip into the tajin seasoning,

3. Fill the glass with ice.

4. Add the tequila, lime juice and 1 tbsp of maple syrup to a Boston Shaker, add ice and 150ml Hibiscus Tea.

5. Shake for 30 seconds to chill then strain through a hawthorn strainer into your glass.

6. Serve immediately with a wedge of lime.
