Kiwi & Water Kefir Garden Punch

As gatherings become more prominent in the warm, balmy evenings to follow. What better way to kick back and relax than with a pitcher full of a cocktail so full of zest and zing that you find yourself curled under blankets until the wee small hours.

This is as delicious as it is green, and green is definitely good.


20 Kiwis, peeled and cut into chunks

500ml Pineapple Juice

200ml Water Kefir

400ml White Rum

20ml Lime Juice

20ml Maple Syrup


1. Add the kiwi and kefir to a blender and blend until smooth. At this point you can either strain it through a fine sieve or I like to keep texture in mine.

2. Meanwhile, mix the pineapple juice, rum, lime and maple in a jug.

3. Chill both mixtures In the fridge for 2 hours or until very cold. Add a few ice cubes to a pitcher (not too many as you don’t want to dilute this too much) and add the mixtures, alternating as you go.

4. Stir with a bar spoon to combine then pour into glasses. Store in the fridge between servings to stay nice and cold.
