Passionfruit & Chilli Drizzle

Sometimes Ice Cream is just a little too sweet *insert shocked face* but really, in the height of summer, you need that punch in the face that says ‘wake up from that heat induced slumber and feel alive’. This simple drizzle does just that. Fresh & zingy with a great kick. It’s absolutely delicious!


10 -15 Ripe Passionfruit, depending on size

50g Caster Sugar

1 Birds Eye Chilli, finely chopped

½ tsp Cornflour mixed with 2 tsp Water

More water to thin down


1. Cut open the passionfruit and scoop out the pulp. You are aiming for about 250g.

2. Add the passionfruit and sugar to a small pan and heat gently. Add the cornflour mix and bring to a boil.

3. Add the chilli and stir as the mixture thickens, you may need to add a splash more water.

4. Allow to cool then store in a jar in the fridge for up to 5 days, it won’t last that long…
